'The Circle of Life'
Empathy
The project: 'A Collaboration for the Future' in aid of UNICEF which was brought to us by Evin Durkin the founder of Empathy. Evin started this project at the beginning of the pandemic to help raise money for children around the world. He asked us to transcribe the original backing vocals from the song 'The Circle of Life' as well as adding our own ideas. This resulted in a highly collaborative project combining the voices of many talented singers. It was a pleasure to be a part of, and as our first project will always be remembered fondly.

'You Will Be Found/You Matter To Me'
Sera Stone and Davide Ventimiglia
Our plans for starting the vocal health YouTube channel were put on hold due to the pandemic. However, we still wanted to make content so decided to have some fun and created a mashup of two musical favourites 'You Matter to Me' and 'You Will Be Found' from Waitress and Dear Evan Hansen. These two songs offer a message of hope and love during an unprecedented time, during which many felt lonely and lost. Our vocal arrangement was brought to life by Daniel Guillen (@dannyyguillen on instagram) who added percussion and production.
Notredame
Luke Silva
A project brought to us by Evin Durkin who directed this LIVE version of Luke Silva's song Notredame. The track is Alternative R&B/Trap-Pop which we added a choir and synth inspired backing vocals to. This gave us the chance to organise a BV section from the initial stages of creation to the final studio recording. We enjoyed the process seeing how the individual parts came to life and are looking forward to the release of this track.
We were approached by Luchi, an amazing artist, who wanted a gospel inspired choir arrangement for an acoustic version of her song 'A Me Che Sono Il Mio Primo Amore'. We were more than happy to help and enjoyed working on this arrangement immensely. We created warm backing vocals to complement Luchi's rich tone, building layers to achieve a thick blend of different vocal tones and qualities. Zoe Zohar
We were so excited when the talented artist Zoë Zohar contacted us to create an A Cappella version of her song 'Paper Airplanes'. The arrangement was equally challenging and rewarding. The brief allowed us to put our own spin on the song whilst capturing the electronic sounds of the vocoder with real voices. The outcome is unique, using various vocal qualities to create a new sound world. It builds from a simple beginning to a massive ending, taking you on a journey.
'Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile'
Empathy
This project is part of 'Music for the Mind' established by Empathy and Stagewave. Through this collaborative cover they raised £3000 to fund the project in aid of YoungMinds and Samaritans. When Evin asked us to arrange backing vocals we were eager to support this project's goal. We tailored the BV section to accompany the many talented vocalists and instrumentalists featured in the track. The result has sweeping intersecting legato lines which complement the various interpretations of the melody. It builds to a jolly finale with an upbeat chant section.
